The rider
David Braceras (Guardamar del Segura, Alicante, Spain, 24 February 2003) is a professional rally-raid rider with Hero MotoSports Team Rally. Before climbing onto a Hero 450 Rally he spent his whole career in motocross: European vice-champion in EMX65 (2013) and EMX125 (2020), Spanish champion in MX65, SX85 and Élite-MX2 (2022), and four seasons in the MX2 World Championship with Kawasaki, Fantic, Honda and Triumph, including a 4th place in a race at the 2025 Argentine GP.
From motocross to rally-raid
In September 2026 he made his rally-raid debut at the Baja España Aragón (FIM Bajas World Cup), winning the prologue by the largest margin in the event's history and one special stage. On 30 October 2026 he closed his motocross chapter and joined Hero MotoSports Team Rally, Hero MotoCorp's factory team in the FIM World Rally-Raid Championship. Presented at EICMA Milan (3–4 November 2026). Next goal: the 2027 Dakar Rally between Portugal and Morocco.

2027 · FIM World Rally-Raid Championship
Full W2RC calendar to be announced. Season goals: finish his first World Championship event with the team, learn roadbook navigation at race pace and arrive ready for his first Dakar.
